Was quoted around $4k for a paved walkway so I decided to just try doing it myself instead. ended up building a gravel path for roughly $800 all in and honestly didn’t expect it to turn out this solid
Used those roll-out gravel grid panels (NDS ones) which made the whole thing way easier to handle solo. I've also seen people mention Gravalock, but I just went with what was available locally.
Be honest.. Is this one of those looks good now, problems later situations? it feels firm underfoot now and desn't shift around like loose gravel at all, more like walking on an actual surface nut my wife is fully convinced we're still going to end up calling a specialist at some point 😅
Anyone else done a DIY path like this and had it actually hold up over time?
