I am a female college student who grew up in a big city but is planning on moving to a relatively isolated rural area in the next few years.
I know absolutely nothing about cars/plumbing/electrical/any kind of basic home maintenance and repair skills, and I don’t really have anyone in my life to teach me this stuff. I want to live as independently as possible without constantly relying on people for support or paying for services that I could just do myself, but I have no idea where to start.
Do you guys have any recommendations for books/videos that could help me learn this? Or even better, opportunities to practice these skills in real life?
