Which is more affordable to live in – Lauderhill or Lauderdale Lakes?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking into moving to Broward County and I’ve been hearing a lot about Lauderhill and Lauderdale Lakes, especially since both have strong Jamaican communities (which I love!).

For anyone who lives in or knows these areas well:

Which city is more affordable overall (rent, groceries, utilities, etc.)?

Are there big differences in apartment prices or neighborhoods?

Is one area safer or better for young families?

I’d love to hear your opinions on which is better for someone trying to live comfortably on a budget. Any advice or personal experiences would be amazing!
