What PSU to get for a 4080 Super and the recommendations are all over the place

I'm going with a 4080 Super and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D 32gb of DDR5 a few NVMe drives standard case fans nothing crazy and every wattage calculator I put this into gives out something between 680 and 750 watts which sounds reasonable until you start reading threads where people are saying the 4080 Super has transient spikes that can hit way past its rated TDP for short bursts and a PSU sitting at 80 percent load has no real headroom to absorb that without potentially tripping its own protection circuit. I was playing on my phone last night then just randomly went down a rabbit hole of tier lists and posts until like 1am and now I feel less sure than when I started.
