What is with Florida drivers' obsession with tailgating people?

I’ve been driving for two years now, and almost every time I’m on the road, some idiots tailgate me. I have no idea why. I purposely drive a little over the speed limit, so I’m not going slow, but I still get tailgated.

I don't understand why they just don't pass me instead of doing that. Sometimes I'm petty and purposely drive slower (still at the speed limit) to spite them.

I even had some idiot flip me off and pass me because I kept stopping at stop signs despite the road being clear lol

And of course, the cops never do anything about it. They pull you over for stupid shit instead. I got pulled over last year for not stopping long enough at a stop sign, which isn’t even a real law. Took the ticket to court and the judge dropped it right away. Cops don't do a damn thing to enforce actual traffic laws, it seems here.
