Can someone explain the purpose of the giant “Service Dogs Only” signs outside the Edgewater Whole Foods? Because from what I’m seeing, it’s actually just a runway for neighborhood dogs. You hear barking in the produce aisle, someone’s pomeranian is licking the salad bar, and no one bats an eye.
At this point, the only way to enforce the rule is to install facial recognition for both humans and their dogs. Big screen flashes: “NOT A SERVICE DOG. THIS IS CLEARLY A CAVAPOO NAMED BEANS. ACCESS DENIED.” Sirens go off.
