Weird noise inside walls !!!

What’s that noise that I have been hearing like in the walls almost like a peacock peaking to the wall or like a palm tree but I think the noise comes from inside the walls in houses and apartments!! I always heard it since like 9 years ago but have never figured what it is ! I always feel that it’s animal but it’s not !!!! Can someone know what it is ????
