Reasons to buy a cheaply built, cookie-cutter home in a national builder neighborhood—on top of an old, contaminated golf course:
You get a great view of the nearby dump.
You can smell the dump.
You can hear the dump workers and their vehicles moving around.
And now, they’re planning to raise the dump another 100 feet and expand it by 25 acres.
Who in their right mind would pay $700K to $800K for a home in this development with high HOA? Plenty of uninformed buyers, apparently.
