Unhinged "notice" from Florida Board of Education

Just got an email from the crackheads who run this state:

Dear School District Superintendents, Charter School Operators and Parents: The Florida Department of Education recently became aware of content within the Beanstack online platform that, upon preliminary review, appears contrary to Florida law and provides access to material that is not age or developmentally appropriate for students. Districts and charter schools that may be using this platform to catalog classroom and school library materials, you are now on notice.

Districts and charter schools using this platform in any way, I implore you to conduct a thorough review to ensure all materials are compliant with Florida law. Beanstack’s attempt to push an ideology, subvert parental rights in education and ignore Florida policy is divisive and problematic. To be clear, it is incumbent upon all public school districts and individual public charter schools to make certain that all materials are consistent with Florida Statutes and State Board of Education Rule. Districts and public charter schools should be aware that continued use of the Beanstack platform without local oversight may result in the unintentional exposure of students to materials that violate Florida law. This not only places students at risk but may also cause teachers or staff to unknowingly act in conflict with Florida policy.

As Commissioner of Education, I remain unwavering in my commitment to protecting Florida’s educators and students. Florida’s education system must uphold the law, support parental rights and stay focused on academic excellence. Your immediate attention to this matter is required. Govern yourselves accordingly

Beanstack is an app that tracks your child's reading, either for personal tracking, or for the school. Broward schools have a contract with it to complete reading challenges. It doesn't have any content in it outside of book titles. Does anyone know what these idiots are even talking about? It would have been nice if they went into like any detail at all behind their stupid and vague threats.
