What’s up, gang. I know we’ve all read this post before, but perhaps this time with a new perspective.
I’m 28M, starting my bachelors degree now after just working retail/service throughout my adulthood. I’m going to graduate with a music degree and search for grade school teaching jobs until I complete my masters and search jobs as a college professor, aside from my personal music pursuits.
Anywho, recently single and just looking to date for fun now. I’m not looking for a full on “hoe season” but I’ve also never dated and not got locked down, so I’d like to be able to just meet new people.
I like to go out to listen to live music, mostly Armstrong in Coral Gables or Lagniappe Downtown, but neither settings seem to be ideal for a solo bro to start up conversations with women. I’ve done a community park clean up before, but also not really any women my age.
I don’t really have too much of a problem being social, so long as I don’t get in my own head about it, and I like to think I’m at least… a 7? Lol
The most difficult part seems to be being in an environment with people I would be personally interested in, aside from their looks. It would be nice to approach a woman at the library, but that seems even less likely than a conversation at the gym. Who knows..
Well, there’s my ramble. Maybe someone has some input.
Ps: I’ve thought about who I might meet at my new school, but I think they would mostly be in their early 20s. Not against it, but not as preferred.
