TL;DR
- June 18 2025: I paid $99 on EasyPetsYes.com and got an ESA letter in minutes — zero evaluation, zero HIPAA, nada.
- Site brags you can “confidently take your pet anywhere,” i.e., an ADA right ESAs simply don’t have. [screenshot]
- Staff email even says “A consultation is not required for Floridians.” [email cap]
- I’m filing a FDUTPA suit in Broward County within 30 days.
- Today I served Tinner with a Litigation Hold: destroy nothing or face sanctions.
All allegations are civil; no finding of liability has been made.
Why It Matters
Letter-mill outfits like EasyPetsYes wreck the credibility of legit ESA requests and make life hell for landlords, therapists, and people with real disabilities. A court-ordered injunction here could become Florida’s blueprint for nuking the “instant ESA letter” racket.
