Public vs Charter vs Private Schools

Hello all. This question is geared towards the Parents in this group with children in schools in broward county. I’ve got a twin 3 year olds who are slated to start kindergarten in 2027.

I’ve been doing research and spoken to a few people but trying to get a more diverse perspective on school options in broward county.

I like public schools and I’m the product of one. However with continuous funding cuts, school closures, heavy government oversight on curriculums, and book bans I feel like public schools aren’t what they used to be - or I may be wrong?

I’d like to get your perspectives on whether you put your child in public, charter, or private schools and what was your rationale? What has been your experience so far? I just want to find the best option for my kids and ensure they’re set up for success. I appreciate everyone’s feedback!
