Moving back to Broward; how safe is it for queer people?

I haven't been to Soflo in about 3 years, and I'm planning on moving back to Broward from West Michigan, specifically Hollywood or Hallandale Beach with my partner next year, as I've only been in Michigan for a year and have honestly hated my time here. I'm trying to move back towards family and friends as I grew up in Broward. I'm bi and my partner goes by any pronouns and tends to sort of infrequently take testosterone for their gender dysphoria, I guess I mostly want to know has there been a notable history of hate crimes in the last few years that I can't seem to remember?

As for testosterone and such, I have my ways. :)
