Miami commissioners to discuss partnership with ICE

"Miami police officers will gain the authority to stop, interrogate and arrest individuals suspected of violating immigration laws."

I noticed a lot more state trooper traffic stops in the last 2-3 weeks on the 836. I've also seen speed traps on local roads that I've really not see since before the pandemic in 2020. I was wondering if it's to catch people for ICE, that hunch might be right.
