Looking to buy a bike.

Hello - I am looking to buy a bike (not looking for an e-bike necessarily). I am a decent rider, not a pro by any means but looking to transition to mostly biking around town for my dailies, going to yoga, etc. … etc. My initial thought was that I needed store recommendations for new bikes, but thinking about it some more I am not opposed to decent used bikes either if there are recommended stores that focus on used bikes.
