Just got a new Ray35

I've been looking for a 5 string recently, and I finally landed on this one. I tried a couple at a shop, including a dingwall and a few ibanez basses, but this one just felt amazing and played like a dream. The B string sounds great, and it has an AMAZING slap tone. The pickup switch helps make it a bit more versatile (the middle position particularly tames the highs a bit, which makes it fit some songs better). Coming from a yamaha trbx604, this bass has better sustain and a really nice punchy tone, but it isn't as versatile. It is really good at what it does tho.

I tried the more expensive american made version, and honestly I felt like I wasn't loosing out on too much (obviously it feels better and it's lighter, but the tone is very similar so it doesn't warrant the price increase imo). The model I ended up with has a beautiful maple top with a transparent pickguard.

Anyways, do you guys have any strap/strap lock recommendations? This bass is quite heavy and I want something reliable that I'll screw in once and then forget about. Cheers!
