How has your opinion on 40 series cards changed since the release of the 50s?

I personally have a 4070-S with a 7900x, 32gb ddr5 with a 2tb SSD and my build cost 1.4k gbp back in early 2025, and at the time it was I think the most cost effective builds for my budget and needs. However, since the 50 series release I'm curious how the cost meta has changed. If you could get my build today for the same cost would you do it, or would there be better options?
