Florida DL Validuty

Hi All,

I just changed my DL from Arizona to Florida as i just moved to Florida. I'm on an H1B visa. I only got the DL for a year, whereas my h1b visa is valid till 2028 (i.e 3 years). When I asked them they said it's because of the new rules by government. Is that the case for everyone who is on Visa or is it just specific to Florida state?
