Does anyone who grew up in Pines/Hollywood in the 90s remember where the dollar theater was at?

I grew up in Broward county, Pembroke Pines to be specific. Before Muvico and AMC we had two theaters. GCC which was behind the Publix on Pines Blvd and Flamingo and we had United Artist theaters which was just up the road on Pines and Hiatus, in the same plaza as the Burger King.

But there was another theater my parents would take us to called the dollar theater. It wasn't just an our family thing either as all my friends used it and they called it that at school. What was unique about the dollar theater is they had cheap tickets but they played movies real late in their theatrical release so you wouldn't go here for new movies.

I saw tons of movies here but I can't remember where it was. I want to look on google maps to see what is there now.

All I know is it was somewhere between University and 441 and Griffin Rd and Pines/Hollywood Blvd. I know that's a big section of roads but part of me wants to say it could've been on Taft St.
