I came across this quote by Sadhguru that made me wonder. What exactly does it mean to produce karma? Does it mean that every reaction we have leaves a memory that is bound to repeat itself again, thereby forming a habit? Also, does it mean that when we consciously perform an action, there will be no karma, no compulsiveness? I believe meditation is the best tool there is to become conscious and perform conscious action. What is your experience with this? Has meditation enhanced your ability to perform conscious action?
