Club Attire for Ladies

Hello friends. I know I sound like an idiot for this question, pls be easy on me. I know it’s long. TL;DR at the bottom.

My husband wants to take me (30F) to “the club” (like LIV or E11even) this weekend. I have never been to a club like that in my life. So, I tried scouring the internet for outfit inspo, I can’t seem to find anything except “bandage mini dress and heels”, otherwise “are you even going to a club in Miami?” Fair enough, but it feels too dated.

I don’t think the baggy jean and scarf top look is going to vibe in that space (though maybe it’s ok for Jolene or Do Not Sit? Never been so I don’t know). I usually wear midi dresses/skirts or halter tops with adidas snap pants or something else wide legged. Again, doesn’t seem to fit the vibe.

To make matters more complicated, we’re planning on dinner at Cote before the night out… going to eat light, but how can I possibly go from Michelin star KBBQ atmosphere to el clúb? 🤣

Ubering back and forth to change feels impractical, so I’d like to just dress correctly when leaving. I had the idea of trying to go to some dancing music like Dante’s or DNS or something, then dinner, then E11even… or maybe dinner then club hopping… but their vibes just feel so drastically different 🤡

Do all the girls wear pumps to the club? Wedges? Platform sandals? I’m sure sneakers won’t fly, though I wish I could just wear some adidas and dance all night. We won’t be buying a table or bottle service, so I can’t throw money at the issue in VIP.
