I don’t even know how to explain what’s going on right now but I’m hoping someone out there has ever seen anything even close to this because I honestly feel like I’m being punked. So I had this injunction hearing in Broward on 9/30 and I just found out the judge filed the final judgment against me at 11:47 AM that morning. The actual hearing didn’t even start until 2:23 PM. how is that even possible?? I’m literally staring at the timestamps from the court reporter and the Clerk and they don’t match by HOURS. The judgment was already filed before I even walked into the courtroom. Before I said a single word. How does that happen? And the crazy part is the whole case has been weird from the beginning. I wasn’t even properly served. Someone literally left the papers on the floor outside my door and a neighbor found them. I tried filing my own counter petition FIVE times and the clerk wouldn’t accept it for stupid stuff like “page tilted” or whatever. I was approved for Zoom and then the judicial assistant randomly took it away the day before the hearing. All my witnesses were denied. My continuance was denied instantly but the other side’s was approved right away. The judge basically cut me off and acted like her mind was made up before I even spoke (which now makes sense because apparently she already filed the judgment hours earlier???)I don’t even know what to think at this point. I honestly thought maybe I misunderstood something but I have the emails, I have the timestamps, it’s literally in black and white. The judgment is filed at 11:47 AM. The hearing didn’t happen until the afternoon. I can’t unsee that. And now the court wants me to pay a thousand bucks for transcripts of a hearing that obviously didn’t matter because the ruling was already done before the hearing even started. I’ve already reached out to the Judicial Qualifications Commission, the Inspector General, Broward’s fraud unit, and some investigative reporters because I just have no idea what else to do. One of the IGs already wrote back so it’s definitely being looked at but I’m still sitting here like… has anyone ever seen this before? Have I completely lost my mind or is this as insane as it feels? Has anyone ever had a judge file something before a hearing even happened? Because I’m honestly shocked and just trying to figure out how this even gets explained.
