Best Areas to Live in Broward County for Students at Broward College?

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend and I will both be attending Broward College soon, and we’re trying to figure out the best (and most affordable) areas to live in Broward County. We’re looking for:

Safe neighborhoods Affordable rent (1-bedroom or studio options)

Reasonable commute to Broward College

Access to grocery stores, public transport, or student-friendly amenities

We’ve been hearing a lot about areas like Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, and Lauderhill, but we don’t know which ones are better for students on a budget.

Any recommendations for specific apartment complexes, neighborhoods, or tips on renting near Broward College would be really helpful!
