For me
Domenico Scarlatti: A lot of his pieces end with a trill between the 1st & 2nd scale degrees on the final chord and I can't stand it for reasons I can't explain
JS Bach: Picardy thirds, they don't bother me as much as they used to but sometimes you just want a minor key piece to end with a minor chord
Jazz: String bass solos, love the genre otherwise but every time I hear one of these I want to fast forward
Hip-Hop: Phone skits, most of them feel like they add nothing to the track (GKMC is my main exception to this rule)
Metal: Blast beats
Pop: Step up key change at the end to milk one more chorus out of the song
What are yours?
