VPK at Public school vs private in Miami dade?

My son is turning 4. He was in a day care. Money is supe tight so I ended up enrolling him in VPK at a public school.

I'm open to hearing suggestions, thoughts, experiences.

I'm so nervous and worried which I think is normal. I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision.
