As one of the ways to fill a budget hole of over $400 million, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava has proposed an increase in Metrorail and Metrobus fares of 50 cents a ride. An advocacy group has warned the numbers really add up for those who rely on public transportation.
