At Transit Alliance, our mission is to advocate for a Miami built for people, not cars. We are committed to freeing Miami from car traffic by equipping every Miamian to influence transit decisions!
This August 21st-22nd, Transit Alliance Miami (TAM) is kicking off our 10-year anniversary celebration the best way we know how: by getting on the move! We’re embarking on an ambitious 24-hour multimodal journey across every corner of Miami — from Kendall to North Dade, from the beach to the Everglades by transit, bike, and on foot. Together, we’ll explore what it really means to get around the city without a car, and spotlight the barriers and opportunities that define that experience.
Join Transit Alliance at one of our upcoming pit stops during our 24 Hour Transit Triathlon. Whether you're a daily commuter, occasional rider, or just care about accessible transit for all - Join in on the fun!
For all my people who yearn for public transportation that could realistically serve as an alternative to sitting in traffic for hours, I strongly recommend supporting TAM's Executive Director, Cathy, at the pitstops listed below and making a donation to the fundraiser in support of their advocacy. TAM is a non-profit organization advocating for walkable streets, bikeable neighborhoods, and better public transit.
