Surfside, Bal Harbour, Or...??

Hello Community. My husband and I will be moving to South Florida next year. We are looking at several communities. Surfside, Bal Harbour, Miami...Or? We are in our late 40's, no kids, one dog, and will be moving from New York City where we have lived for the last 20 years. We want to be on the beach but also want to live somewhere very walkable for every day living (groceries, pharmacy, dinner, bars). We enjoy going out to dinner several times a week and being active outdoors. Is there one community over the other that you guys would recommend given the above? Thank you!!!
