Saying FAFO is just another form of toxic isolation

In reference to the Cuban who was deported, I understand that Cubans being Trump supporters is very common knowledge and I have seen so many people saying they are deserving of this. What good does saying that do genuinely? I’m a second generation Latino with parents who were immigrants and were naturalized after over at least 15 years of working towards citizenship. That has never made me feel like people who are still not documented are undeserving of due process or are lazy and not taking steps to citizenship especially when I have seen first hand how difficult it is to achieve that. I don’t agree with voting for Trump but I won’t just say FAFO when you don’t even know the political views of the people this is happening to. I’ve just seen people generalizing all Cubans and it’s just made me think why not try to bring awareness to other Cubans in a way that is not insulting. Aren’t we all hoping this doesn’t affect our loved ones? I just feel like instead of thinking things are going to change because Cubans are being affected more could be achieved if we focused on the goal of fighting for the people who don’t have a voice right now before the voice gets taken away from ALL of us.

Edit: TLDR we are losing the plot by saying FAFO. Why don’t people just demonstrate how people are being affected? Maybe we will appeal to some people with empathy :/
