I've lived in South Texas my entire life. I'm orginally from Beevile, TX which is a smaller town - population approx 13,000 (which I prefer) . I've lived in Victoria, TX (population approx 66,000) for about 25 years now.
I love Texas but I'm so done with THC not being legal here. I'm so done with it!
Plus, after living in a bigger city for so long, I'm realizing that I'm ready for to live back in a smaller town because I'm sick of the neighbors living so close to me with their barking dogs and stupid people who play their music too loud outside.
And since I work remotely from home, I really don't have to stay here anymore.
BUT, since THC is still illegal here in Texas, I still can't seem to live in peace where I can just live a quiet life, work my job and smoke my bud in peace without bothering anybody and fearing losing my freedom. (I'm NOT going back to prison). I'm really a good hearted, respectful and friendly person, but I have to live like a recluse just because of all these closed minded Republicans here in Texas.
I've never lived outside of Texas so i have no idea where I would be most comfortable relocating to.
My dream is to move to Vermont, but I'm not sure if that's realistic or just a fantasy.
Anyone from out of state who's ever lived in Texas? Where should I move to?
I currently pay around $1100 a month to rent my house so I'd like to go somewhere I can pay the same or even less.
