Publix “Kewpie” Mayo Isn’t Actually Kewpie

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a heads-up if you shop at Publix l. I recently picked up a buy-one-get-one-free deal on what was labeled as Kewpie mayo—super excited because I love the real Japanese stuff.

But once I got home and tried it, it tasted basically like regular old Kraft mayo. So just a heads-up that Publix might be selling something that’s not actually authentic Kewpie, and it might just be a rebrand of a standard mayo.

The Publix bottle is also way stiffer than the real one. Literally Kraft mayo inside this bottle.
