Hi everyone. My family might be relocating to Boca for work. We have a son on the Autism spectrum and would like to know if anyone would share their experience with the school system.
He is considered level 1, and currently is in Gen Ed with some pull out to the resource room for OT and speech. He is doing pretty well academically but his biggest struggle is emotional sensitivity. I know the Florida school system struggles but have heard some positive reports about Boca, just trying to gather some info from other parents rather than just data.
We also have a middle schooler so if anyone would like to share their opinions/ suggestions I would very much appreciate it.
If you are going to comment to tell me it’s terrible, stay away, etc; I appreciate your concern but the relocation is for work and we may not have a choice so those comments won’t be very helpful.
