Is there a hierarchy among Cubans in Miami according to when they arrived? For example, 1959 arrivals, Peter Pan flight arrivals, and Mariel Boat Lift arrivals. I’m not Cuban and not from Miami; just asking a question based on living here for the past two years. I’ve tried looking for documentaries about this topic but haven’t been successful. Is this something that local universities study?
