Opener at Coconut Grove Improv late 90s

Anybody remember the name of the opening act that was a regular at the coconut grove improv who would come out on stage to DMX Ryders’ Anthem?

He was a regular there every week, opening for Joey Diaz, Daniel Tosh, Dane Cook etc.
