I was outside watering the plants when I glanced up at the eastern sky and noticed something unusual—a bright object falling fast, trailing a parabolic streak behind it.
At first, I thought it might be a launch failure or something man-made. But then it suddenly flared brighter before vanishing, and the trail slowly faded from view.
Pretty sure, for the first time in my life, I witnessed a meteorite burning up in the atmosphere. After living in Miami my whole life, it’s wild to finally catch something like that—just a few days after my 42nd birthday, no less.
Did anyone else see it? Thoughts?
