I’m looking for Obstetrician recommendations in the South Miami/Kendall area. I just moved back to Miami and am currently 16 weeks pregnant. I reached out to South Miami OBGYN per a recommendation from a family member, but they took 3 weeks to review my medical records just to email me “we regret to inform you that we do not accept you as a transfer”. That’s all the e-mail said, no reason or any context. So, pretty upsetting that I waited 3 weeks (weeks 13-16) to be told that they won’t accept me for no apparent reason.
I’m worried that with each attempt I make at getting a new appointment, I’ll be left waiting 2-3 weeks just to be told no again. Surely the likelihood of getting denied as a new patient goes up with each week of pregnancy.
