I'm one of the people who is going to be trapped west of Beeline on Northlake during the closure.
I understand it's only for a few days, but the level of inconvenience is insane to me. I normally don't go further than 8 miles from my house. My partner is staying 7-8 miles from me and requires me to cross Beeline. My gym is on Northlake - otherwise, I have to go all the way to Wellington. Everywhere I go, is basically on PGA or Northlake.
So you are telling me that to go anywhere besides Publix, I have to take a 30-40 mile detour in order to do that? Now this wouldn't be so bad if it were a couple of days, but they're saying it will be 8 days, and that they will "try" to get it done in 5 days due to pressure from pissed off locals, but I really don't believe that's going to happen. Sure it might be that quick if nothing goes wrong. And things always go wrong.
If anyone happens to know any other way to get to Beeline that other people might not know about, without having to go to Okeechobee, please let me know. I am unaware of any way that might be connected to Seminole Pratt rd, though studying a map, it doesn't look good.
