No Longer Able to Smoke

1 day ago 10

I don't know if anyone can help me understand this, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I'm 21 and started smoking marijuana when I was 15 and smoked until I was 26, when I had to quit completely. I smoked all day: on my way to work, on my lunch break, on the way home, and again before going to bed. I did this for about 10 years. I mostly smoked weed, but in the last 2-3 years before quitting, I also dabbed.

It seemed random, but one day, while at a friend's house, I lit a joint and suddenly felt very anxious. So I assumed it was the strain or that it was too strong, but each subsequent strain triggered this anxiety. So I quit marijuana and for the past two years I've tried smoking again to see if I just needed a break from my tolerance, but I felt the same way every time. Has this happened to anyone else? I miss smoking weed and would like to do it again, but first I need to understand why.
