I'm looking at a private sale and they want $15k. Assume I've already inspected it, how do I protect myself financially from risk and fraud?
Do we go to the DMV together? Do I carry cash or pay some other way? Does the title state if it has a lien? I don't have experience with this, just with dealerships.
