My fridge is giving out, when/where is the best time to get a new one?

As the title says, my fridge is giving out and we need a new one. The refrigerator inside back ices over after 3-6 weeks of use causing me to have to take it apart and defrost it. It takes a few hours but it was worth it to extend its lifespan. With Black Friday and the holiday seasons ahead I really dont want to get a new fridge, but there is now water leaking into the bottom drawers now so its probably on its last leg.

My question is when and where can you get a good quality fridge that will last? This one is a Samsung and started breaking after 5-6 years and I extended it to 9 years. This feels way to short for such a major purchase! Ideas and input is appreciated!
