Miami weather in September?

Hey everyone! Not sure if this post will get removed, but my friend and I are planning a trip to Miami on September 6th and we’re wondering what the weather is usually like around then.

We’re visiting from the UK and heard it’s hurricane season and that it rains every day. Just wondering if that’s true and if it might end up ruining the trip 😩
