Miami Tech Professionals: A Private Dinner & Conversation Club for the Real Ones

I know this might sound a little bold, but here it goes…

Miami doesn’t always get the best reputation when it comes to diverse careers—but if you know, you know. There’s a real (and growing) community of tech professionals, founders, and career builders who’ve carved out meaningful lives here. Many of us came from other cities, built our own paths into tech without traditional CS degrees or bootcamps, and found success by being scrappy, independent, and resourceful.

What I’ve noticed, though, is that most local tech events feel… off. Either they’re poorly attended, or they attract mostly people trying to break in—which is totally valid—but sometimes you just want to meet peers. People who already work in the industry, who are building something or leading something, and who understand the unique hybrid hustle that comes with working in tech (especially in a city like Miami).

I’m putting together a small, curated community—think of it as a “Tech Dinner Club” or “Brass Breakfast Club.” We’ll meet regularly at some of Miami’s better spots (places like Casa Tua, Koko, Delilah, Cassadona, The Moore, and Soho House), keep it casual but elevated, and focus on real conversation, networking, and idea-sharing. No pitching. No panels. Just great food and great people who work in the industry—product, data, engineering, design, partnerships, growth, sales, you name it.

Here’s the vibe: • You’re ideally 28–45 and already working in tech 2+ years or at a tech-adjacent company (not trying to gatekeep—but this isn’t an intro course). • You love good food, deep convos, and real connections. • You’re looking for community, insider insights on who’s hiring, who’s moving to Miami, or just other folks who understand this weird but wonderful space we work in.

I’ll be reviewing LinkedIns before inviting anyone, just to keep the integrity of the space. It’s not about being exclusive—it’s about creating a circle that adds value.

Would love to hear if this resonates with anyone. First dinner is coming soon and we’ve already got a few solid folks confirmed. Drop a comment or DM if you’re interested. 💻🍽️ 🍸
