Miami (best place to be)

I know you probably get tons of tourist questions, but I’ll be visiting Miami in late November for 5 days. The main reason for my trip is to attend NBA, NFL, and NHL game. I’m traveling with two friends and I’m wondering which area would be best for us to stay in – Miami Beach, Brickell, or somewhere else? I love the beach, but I’m also a big fan of vibrant city life. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
