[In-Person][5e][Miami] Looking for 1 Experienced Player for Ongoing D&D Campaigns (Homebrew & Gothic Horror)

Hey! We’re a tight-knit D&D group in Miami (near Coral Way & 17th Ave) looking to fill one open seat at our weekly table. One of our players had to step away due to a new work schedule, and we’re hoping to find someone who’s fun, engaged, and ready to be part of the story.

We’ve been playing together for over 6 years, and we’re looking for someone who values creative roleplay, strong table vibes, and long-term storytelling.

We play in person every Wednesday from 6 PM to 10 PM, rotating between two ongoing campaigns every week:

⚔️ Campaign Rotation (Alternating Weekly)

Homebrew Campaign (Level 12): A high-stakes, character-driven story where high fantasy D&D collides with The Wire and Grand Theft Auto. The party recently broke up a Yakuza-style drug ring selling fantasy cocaine out of a church — and now they’re dealing with the fallout: pissed-off crime lords, political blowback, and a city on edge. So far, they’ve fought a sharknado, exterminated a xenomorph hive, and are now tracking down their Voltron-style magic ship, which was stolen by the thieves’ guild in retaliation. Expect political pressure, explosive fights, strange magic, and choices that change everything.

Curse of Strahd (Level 3 - Homebrew Remix): A gothic horror campaign with heavy homebrew influence. The tone is dark, atmospheric, and full of emotional weight. Still early in the story — perfect time to jump in. Expect tough decisions, a haunting tone, and an ever-present, unsettling fog.

🧙 What We’re Looking For • Experienced D&D players preferred — the homebrew campaign is level 12, and we want someone who’s comfortable jumping into high-level play • Collaborative, dependable, and story-driven • Open to roleplay, creative problem-solving, and choices that might not always be “right” • No need to min-max — we care more about character, heart, and intent

📝 How to Join

Send a message or reply with: • A little about yourself • Your experience with D&D (especially 5e) • What kinds of characters or stories you enjoy • Your Wednesday night availability • Optional: What stories or vibes do you love? (Examples we connect with: The Witcher, The Wire, Castlevania, X-Men ’97, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Warhammer 40K, Critical Role, Dimension 20, Buffy the Vampire Slayer — anything with weight, style, or soul.)

We’re a laid-back but committed group that loves cinematic moments, moral tension, and watching our choices ripple through the world. If that sounds like your style, hit us up — we’d love to meet you and roll some dice.
