Looking for a low key, affordable, decent stay near WPB

My step dad lived in Florida for many years before moving back to louisville, KY where he met my mom. They’ve been together over 10 years now. He is sick with stage 4 lung cancer and all they want is to go to the beach. On top of everything, his daughter and grandson live in Orlando and he’s desperate to spend time with them. My mom is disabled and they’re both broke and really don’t have the funds for a fancy beach trip.

We aren’t well off but I’m willing to go into some credit card debt to give them a good trip to the beach. If anyone knows a small, humble hotel near WPB (with a pool and walking distance from the beach bc my mom can’t walk more than a block or two and needs easy beach access) please send it my way. They’ve had such a horrible year and I just want to give them something to look forward to.
