I know Miami sometimes has a stigma around the word “community,” and I’ve seen people talk about the lack of it here. That said, it’s human nature to look for a sense of community, and I find myself wanting to give back in some small ways that help people and foster a sense of togetherness.
I think that this Reddit will have far more diverse ideas than to donate a lump sum to a charity annually or drop off old clothes at Goodwill, and I’d love to hear them. I can’t be the only one looking for this type of thing — so I’d love to hear your advice and knowledge about small and big ways to get involved in our town!
