I will be attending the 19th of March, 2026 concert containing Mahler's Symphony No. 2 in C minor "Resurrection", conducted by Kent Nagano with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
I know the piece very well after reading through the score as well as listening to recordings, but never in person have I heard it. Is there anything I can expect to watch or listen out for in particular that I can't see or hear well through a recording? I want to get the most out of the experience of being there for the monumental work.
Thanks.
