Is there a rivalry between Miami and Los Angeles? How to Miami folks feel about LA?

The reason why I ask is because I talk to people in Florida and they have noticed an influx of people from California moving into the state. I know about the problems in that state which makes people want to leave, and Florida, having similar weather, is an ideal location for those fleeing the failing policies of Sacramento. However, Floridans are skeptical due to the reputation of Californians moving into new territories in droves driving up the taxes, voting out local politicians to be replaced with California-style politicians. I know there is a California and Florida rivalry but it is merely a culture based one but since Miami is the presumed “face of Florida” (meaning when one thinks at Florida, Miami is the first place that pops into mind) and Los Angeles is the California counterpart of my previous statement, does Miami welcome Los Angeles migrants wishing to escape the plight of the city?
