I was kidnapped during a solo trip to the Bahamas. AMA

I (27F) took a solo trip to the Bahamas in 2023 and was kidnapped by a hired driver. I was with him for 5 hours before I convinced him to take me back to my Airbnb. This experience hasn’t deterred me from traveling solo, it just taught me some very valuable lessons. Ask me anything.

ETA - I should’ve mentioned this sooner since it’s quite relevant - he had a machete with him in the car.
