I'm having trouble learning Spanish...

I've come to Miami with thoughts and prayers of meeting a BBL with a BBL. Sadly there's this minor issue of being unable to communicate with half of the population that's been getting in the way of my dream thus far.

Anybody got any tips for learning Spanish that worked besides school or just having Hispanic parents?

I took Spanish in HS and always failed the shit out of it but I thought now that I'm older maybe I'd be motivated but it's not really happening and I'm feeling derpy lol. Ty
